DocuLazo provides a secure document intake and temporary transit service for professional offices (law, tax, immigration, and similar practices). By using the service, agencies and end clients agree to these terms.

DocuLazo ofrece un servicio seguro de recepción y tránsito temporal de documentos para oficinas profesionales. Al usar el servicio, las agencias y los clientes finales aceptan estos términos.

DocuLazo does not provide legal, immigration, tax, or accounting advice. Content uploaded through the portal is transmitted to the requesting organization only.

Agency responsibilities / Responsabilidades de la agencia

Agencies are responsible for: confirming each client completed the SMS opt-in before a document request is texted; downloading and filing completed packages into their own systems before the retention window closes; and the accuracy of the checklists and instructions they send to clients. DocuLazo is an intake tool, not the agency's system of record.

Las agencias son responsables de: confirmar que cada cliente completó el consentimiento SMS antes de enviar una solicitud por mensaje; descargar y archivar los paquetes completados en sus propios sistemas antes de que cierre el período de retención; y la exactitud de las listas e instrucciones que envían a los clientes. DocuLazo es una herramienta de recepción, no el sistema de registro de la agencia.

SMS Terms / Términos de SMS

SMS under this service is provided by brand Marlon Palacios (DBA DocuLazo). Clients opt in before receiving any text by submitting the web opt-in form at doculazo.com/legal/sms-consent with the consent box checked; that form is the single opt-in method for this service. When creating an intake, the agency confirms the client has completed that opt-in. Messages relate only to that client's document request (invite link, one-time verification code, reminders, and delivery notices). Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from the office.

Los SMS de este servicio los provee la marca Marlon Palacios (DBA DocuLazo). Los clientes dan su consentimiento antes de recibir cualquier mensaje enviando el formulario web en doculazo.com/legal/sms-consent con la casilla de consentimiento marcada; ese formulario es el único método de suscripción de este servicio. Al crear una solicitud, la agencia confirma que el cliente completó ese proceso. Los mensajes se relacionan solo con la solicitud de documentos de ese cliente (enlace de invitación, código de verificación, recordatorios y avisos de entrega). La frecuencia varía; pueden aplicarse tarifas de mensajes y datos. Responda STOP para cancelar o HELP para ayuda. El consentimiento no es condición para comprar bienes o servicios de la oficina.

Ephemeral storage / Almacenamiento temporal

Files and their extracted text are retained for a limited period configured by the organization (for example 7–30 days after package completion; default 21 days) and then permanently deleted. Files not downloaded before purge cannot be recovered from DocuLazo.

Los archivos y su texto extraído se conservan por un período limitado configurado por la organización (por ejemplo, 7–30 días tras completar el paquete; 21 días por defecto) y luego se eliminan de forma permanente. Los archivos no descargados antes de la purga no pueden recuperarse de DocuLazo.

Acceptable use / Uso aceptable

You agree not to use DocuLazo to request, upload, or transmit unlawful material, to attempt access to another organization's data, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. The service is provided as available; firms remain responsible for their own case, tax, and compliance obligations.

Usted acepta no usar DocuLazo para solicitar, cargar o transmitir material ilegal, intentar acceder a datos de otra organización ni interferir con el servicio. Podemos suspender cuentas que violen estos términos. El servicio se ofrece según disponibilidad; las firmas siguen siendo responsables de sus propias obligaciones de caso, fiscales y de cumplimiento.
